Dr Richard Di Natale’s Pledge to Victoria

I pledge to represent Victoria with a strong, compassionate and progressive voice in the federal parliament. 

For the past six years, Victorians have not had a Senate that represents their values. On the issues that matter to Victorians, better public health, a quality education system and care for our environment – they have been silent. 

In 2010 Victorians have a different choice.

If elected as a Victorian Senator, I will:

• stand up for their interests, rather than the interests of big business.
• put petty partisan rivalries aside and will get results through more constructive and collaborative politics.
• put public health back at the centre of the political debate.
