Hello, my name is Anne Goddard and I am the Greens Candidate for the seat of Flynn.

As a 50 year old mother of two, I am greatly concerned about their future. I am currently establishing an organic farm, reforesting and co-ordinating the building of a local Indigenous Cultural Centre on 41 acres of remnant bushland.

Public transport in this area is inadequate. I'll work hard to secure funding to ensure that public transport infrastructure is dramatically improved.

Providing safe and affordable public transport systems brings communities together, lessens the need for private car ownership and reduces individual and community costs.

Queenslanders are currently paid a net feed-in tariff, meaning householders only get paid for the energy they generate in excess of the energy they consume.

The Greens propose a gross feed-in tariff. Making money from generating clean energy is a win/win for the environment and for household
budgets. I will campaign to provide sustainable, reliable, clean, energy industries to the electorate of Flynn and a gross feed in tariff for renewable energy generation.

A national feed-in tariff would create jobs in manufacturing and installation for Queenslanders and help reduce carbon pollution that is
threatening the 63,000+ jobs that rely on a healthy Great Barrier Reef, which is at risk from climate change.

The Greens will also ensure that the rapid expansion of the mining industry in this region is properly regulated and doesn't come at the expense of our precious farmlands and water resources.

I will bring commonsense, honesty, compassion, empathy and practical solutions into politics. Coupling my specialised secretarial skills
(including corporate level strategic planning, industrial relations, personnel and budgeting experience) into Greens policies, I have everything
it takes to lead the seat of Flynn into a positive future.

Vote 1 Greens.
