How do I get started?

To get started you will need:

So where do I get a RSS newsreader?

Well, we can't specifically recommend or endorse any particular newsreader, but if you do a quick web search on "free RSS newsreader" you will find that there are many options available (remove the word "free" and you will also find many that cost money).

You can try  Feed Reader, Feed Demon or Sharp Reader, or RSSPopper (for Outlook) on Windows, NetNewsWire or NewsFire on a Mac, or RSSOwl on Linux. Or there is Google reader. You can also try the open-source browser Firefox, which will allow you to set "Live Bookmarks" that will continually update in the bookmark section of the browser. Thunderbird is an open-source e-mail program that has RSS features built in. There are many other options. Please note: The Australian Greens do not specifically recommend or endorse any of these newsreaders.

Once you find a newsreader you prefer just click on "subscribe" and enter the newsfeed page of your choice.
