Policies
In the safest Labor seat in the country, Batman voters deserve a better deal from the government.
After years of unprecedented economic growth in Australia, Batman’s residents deserve local, 24 hour health facilities; adequate education funding; quality child care; welfare and carers’ payments above the poverty line, and guaranteed protection for all workers.
Labor has not delivered on these basic needs.
For the Greens, these are core policy commitments, alongside building a low carbon economy and ensuring equal rights for all Australians.
This year, Batman voters have the opportunity to make their voices heard, by voting Green and transforming Batman into the second marginal Labor-Greens seat in the country.
