About
Ben O’Callaghan is a senior sustainability consultant and professional project manager.
In the past Ben has been a member of the ACT Government Digital Divide Advisory Panel and worked as a senior project manager for Accenture, the world’s largest professional management and technology consulting company.
Most recently Ben has worked as a university lecturer in sustainable urban development.
Ben lives locally, in an award-winning sustainable home and has experience leading community groups.
He is capable, well educated and ideally positioned to represent the community and its best interests.
Policies
The Greens are leading the push for more public and sustainable transport in the local electorate as current train, bus and road services are below standard.
Similarly the health system needs a review, to reduce waiting times and provide more mental health, dental care and aged care services, where people need them.
By supporting the transition to a more efficient economy the Greens can also increase employment opportunities and create sustainable jobs for the area.
In parallel we can deliver more affordable housing solutions to provide more equity and enhance our quality of life.
