Policies

Eden-Monaro’s remnant forest areas contain some rich areas of biodiversity as does the Marine Park around Batemans Bay. The protection of these areas is of vital importance in combatting climate change. The Greens have proposed an interim carbon tax as a solution to the Rudd government’s failure to produce an effective emissions trading scheme.

The Greens do politics differently. In Federal Parliament Greens Senators have worked with the Government to improve outcomes instead of just opposing legislation. Greens policies reflect our long term vision for fairer, more sustainable communities.

Take a look at these policies in action in our local area.
