Policies

The Greens have consistently campaigned for more sustainable development to ensure that residents have adequate access to essential services such as transport, healthcare and other services. Nowhere is the lack of transport planning for sorely felt than in Sydney North West.

The Greens want to return planning decisions to community hands and alleviate the pressures of this car dependent region through prioritising public transport infrastructure.

The Greens will put energy and water saving measures in the reach of household across the region to provide a more sustainable future. As the only party committed to genuine action on climate change we have proposed an interim carbon tax to break the deadlock on an emissions trading scheme.
