Candidate for Dickson

About

David Colbert lives in the small village of Mount Nebo surrounded by the rainforests of D’aguilar National Park.

He is a small business owner working in the bush regeneration industry, with his job taking him from inner north Brisbane to the creeks and waterways of Petrie and into the mountains of the D’aguilar range.

David has therefore developed a deep understanding of the natural heritage that makes South East Queensland such an important region for biodiversity and the importance of protecting its natural assets.

David has always lead an active life involving many sporting pursuits, including competing in numerous marathons, camping and a general love of the outdoors.

It is these life experiences that supports David’s advocacy for the importance of quality of life for our communities and the vital role the environment plays in this.
