Currently adding to her Diploma in Youth Work by completing a Diploma in Business, Denise is working in the fields of child health and Indigenous family support in Armadale and the Great Southern region. Denise is passionate about getting a fairer deal for people in Canning.
“I know through working locally in the sector that it is crucial that working families, the aged, youth and disability sector s and Indigenous families have a strong voice advocating for them on a Federal level.”
“The Canning electorate is unique with its diversity of rural and rapidly growing urban areas which can mean that accessing vital services such as health, public transport, education and employment can be expensive and a challenge for residents. “
“There are ever-increasing pressures on our environment and primary producers and I am committed to ensuring that development is appropriate for these areas and meets the needs of our growing population in a sustainable way."
"The constituents of Canning are getting left behind in our two-speed economy and I am keen to ensure that the people of Canning get their fair share and can leave an inheritance of opportunity balanced with sustainability and a healthy environment for future generations.”
