About
Des is a man of insight and action. From his early days helping save the Franklin River to advising leading Australian financial service organisations, Des uses understanding and energy to help environments and businesses thrive. Des has a vision for a productive economy that is good for people and good for our environment both today and tomorrow.
Des is a long time lover of the Kooyong lifestyle. Des grew up in Hawthorn. He now lives in Kew with his wife, three children, dog and cat.
His plan for Kooyong, and for the nation, is to build the productive and sustainable economy we need to generate jobs and maintain a healthy environment.
Policies
We have a positive plan for:
- Real action on climate change, water and the environment;
- Public education, health and transport for a growing Melbourne;
- Moving to clean energy and the creation of green jobs;
- Protecting the rights of vulnerable people.
