About

Dominic lives with his wife and two children in Bellingen. A High School Geography teacher, Dominic also runs the school’s Environmental program and works on a pilot youth program.

Originally from the western suburbs of Sydney, Dominic completed an apprenticeship and spent 14 years in the building industry. A growing interest in politics and global environmental issues resulted in him completing a Batchelor of Science, Resource Environmental Management, along with a Graduate Diploma of Education (Geography).  Dominic is the current Secondary Schools Representative on the North Coast Environment Education Council

A sports lover, Dominic played 200 rugby union games for Parramatta and is currently a soccer coach.  Dominic’s passion and integrity make him an ideal candidate.

Policies

Cowper is a fabulous place to live. Many who live here came because of its natural beauty, something we’ll fight to keep. 

The key issues for the Greens in Cowper include:

  • sustainable jobs,
  • health services, including services for the elderly,
  • climate change – our region is particularly prone to flooding, coastal inundation and an increase in fire risk
  • unsustainable development
  • sustainable agriculture
  • better transport services
