About

Mark Riley lives in Brunswick. He has worked in the community in HIV/AIDS prevention, as a school teacher, and in various roles supporting and empowering people in their communities. He is currently working on a project supporting pay and conditions for outworkers in the clothing sector.

Committed to living with a light ecological footprint, Mark and his partner have just renovated their house to lighten their energy and water use. A bike commuter for over 20 years, Mark uses yoga and exercise to balance a busy lifestyle.

Mark has the commitment, leadership, experience and integrity to represent the people of Wills.

Policies

Wills is changing. Greens policies are impacting on the people of Wills and the political debate of government.

Vote for the Greens in Wills to:

  • Take a strong stand on climate change and move Australia quickly towards clean, renewable energy, more green jobs and a sustainable water supply & transport system;
  • Provide better medical and personal care for the elderly and those with a disablity;
  • Ensure an increase in the supply of affordable, sustainable housing, and provide more public and community housing options, especially for disadvantaged groups;
  • Send a clear message that Australia will respect international conventions on the treatment of asylum seekers and ensure our northern suburbs remain inclusive and diverse.
