About
Matt lives in a solar heated home in Brighton with his wife Katherine, their two daughters and their dog Ruby.
He has extensive interest and experience in non-profit community housing and in integrating urban design, housing and transport to create and support sustainable lifestyles. He was closely involved in development of Adelaide’s landmark ‘Christie Walk’ ecological housing project located in Sturt St in the City.
Matt has a doctorate in Public Health and works locally as a researcher at Flinders University focusing on the
effects of chronic stress on mental health and the disproportionate impact mental illness has on socially or economically disadvantaged people.
