About
Paul Bambrick lives in Yeppoon with his partner and young family. He is an architectural technician and also runs a small business regenerating native forest. He is a dedicated and active community volunteer with local youth, conservation and arts groups.
Driven by a love of nature, Paul has long campaigned for positive action on climate change through sustainable building and urban design and more inclusive society.
This, his third election campaign for the Greens offers the people of Capricornia a fresh new voice for the environment.
When not riding his pushbike and pulling out noxious weeds in his spare time he is playing guitar and singing with the local folk club.

Policies
Capricornia, a labour stronghold economically dependent on coal mining, beef and grain production and the Great Barrier Reef, presents the Greens with unique challenges and opportunities.
We must protect our diminishing forests, farmland and water quality and ween ourselves off the coal economy.
The Greens would initiate development of alternative energy including solar power stations in Central Queensland and enact national container deposit and packaging legislation, creating jobs and reducing waste.
We oppose the proposed coal port in the Fitzroy River Delta and the marina and development on public land (lot 21) on Great Keppel Island.
Only the Greens will stand up for a fairer, cleaner world independent of vested interests.
