About
Peter is a retired school teacher who lives in Wagga Wagga with his partner, Ray. He has been active in the Greens since 2002. Peter ran for the seat of Murrumbidgee in the 2007 state election and has a long history of activism. During his time as a school teacher, he was an active member of the NSW Teachers Federation.
His interests are physical fitness, playing bridge, observing politics and world events, reading, music and tasting the fine wines of the Riverina.

Policies
As Greens candidate for Farrer, Peter stands for:
- Real action on climate change.
- A national denticare scheme which allows all Australians access to dental health care.
- Improved funding for local health services, including mental healthcare, to ensure everyone has access to adequate healthcare.
- Support for public schools, TAFE and universities.
- Justice and compassion for asylum seekers.
- No political donations from developers and other vested interests.
- Support for local governments to build cycleways
- Serious funding of public transport options for the moving of people and goods.
- Public funding for the construction of solar farms on degraded land to provide both local employment and an income for the land owner.
- A just, sustainable and democratic Australia.
