Peter Taylor lives in Williams Landing with his wife and children. He’s a purchasing officer for a musical instrument importer.

Peter is concerned about local issues such as congestion on our roads, rampant development without proper services, and inadequate childcare places.

“I became involved with the Greens to make a difference in the Western Suburbs,” he says. “I’m sick of seeing the West miss out on funding.”

Policies

The Greens are providing practical solutions for the real world at all levels of government. We have a positive plan for:

  • Action on climate change, with legislated targets and a carbon price to drive clean energy and jobs;
  • A universal preventative health care system with publicly-funded primary dental care and increased funding for mental health;
  • A world-class public education system, including two years free pre-school for all children;
  • An effective, comfortable public transport system that triples passenger numbers by 2020.
