Candidate for Aston

About

Salore Craig has lived in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne for over 30 years and is now a home owner with her husband in the area.

With a Bachelor’s Degree in politics and sociology from Latrobe University, Salore is currently employed in the social services sector and works assisting refugees and other migrants to find employment and integrate into Australian society. Working in this field has given Salore a good understanding of the challenges refugees face at all levels and the reasons why Australia should show greater compassion for those who are forced to flee their homeland.

A dedicated passion for environmental conservation and social justice has motivated Salore to run for parliament again in 2010. She has previously run strong campaigns in both State and Federal elections. Salore has always been guided by her strong ethical philosophies and this campaign will be no different.
