Last night I spoke at the ‘Make Poverty History’ forum. It was great to be able to speak to people about an issue which I am passionate about. The Millennium Development Goals do not receive enough media. I have added my initial speech for your information.

Hello, my name is Salore Craig, and I am proud to be representing the Greens in this election in the Federal Seat of Aston.

I am a strong believer in equity and social justice and it is for this reason that I am again running for the Greens in 2010 and it is also for this reason that I believe we, as Australians, should do more to improve the living conditions of the poorest people on the planet.
