Policies
- Protection of the Central Coast waterways from coal mining. Existing and proposed new mines in the area pose a significant contamination threat to our water
- Strong workplace laws which protect workers. The Greens aim to strengthen collective bargaining law and to secure a minimum of five weeks annual leave for all workers.
- Integrity in Government. The political process should be open and honest. The Greens refuse to accept donations from developers, and seek to end the influence of corporate money in Australian politics. Government must listen to the whole community, not just to big business.
- Safer communities. Wyong Shire has a high rate of domestic violence and child protection issues. The Greens seek to support crisis services, including housing.
