Moore

About

Greens candidate for Moore Sheridan Young combines full-time study, part-time employment and regular volunteer work in her community. The industrious Beldon resident joined the Greens because she firmly believes real change is needed in the way Australia is governed.

“All generations, not just young people, are increasingly disillusioned by the inability of the two major parties to incorporate ecology and sustainability principles into the Australian economy. The Greens policies offer the consistency and relevance needed to affect real action for the future of our environment.”

Sheridan is committed to being part of the much-needed reform process; she is currently studying a Bachelor of Arts in Sustainable Development and Politics at Murdoch University and actively involved in a range of community development programs. She has completed internships with the Conservation Council of WA, and Save Our Marine Life; an advocacy campaign for promoting marine sanctuaries.

Sheridan plants shrubs as a volunteer with the Joondalup Community Coast Care Forum and is a passionate dog owner. She lives with her mother and three siblings.
