Candidate for Bruce

About

After growing up in country Victoria, Stefan Zibell has lived in the South-Eastern suburbs for seven years, pursuing his education as a law and comparative literature student at Monash University. He believes that this education has been the ideal preparation for his Greens candidacy, as it has equipped him to both deal with the complexity of our political system and to listen for the uniqueness of our region’s stories.

Despite having travelled and studied all over the world, from the Palestinian West Bank to Mongolia, he still regards Melbourne as the city that has taught him the most. Stefan is very enthusiastic about the opportunity to give something back to the community. He has long experience working with a wide range of community and student groups, and has recently commenced a volunteer course at Springvale Monash Legal Service.
