Climate Change - "The target matters most" - Brown

Whether Australia adopts an emissions trading scheme or a carbon tax, a strong target and 2010 start-up is what's most important, Australian Greens Leader Bob Brown said today.
"The Greens advocate a trading scheme because a cap on Australia's total emissions provides greater environmental certainty and will fit an international trading scheme as the world moves to avoid catastrophic climate change," Senator Brown said.
