World Heritage Funding slashed
Federal funding for Tasmania's Wilderness World Heritage Area has been slashed by two thirds (see table), Australian Greens Leader Bob Brown said today.

The Australian Greens have called on Environment Minister Peter Garrett to use his existing powers to protect Queensland's beautiful Shoalwater Bay from the environmentally destructive Waratah Coal mine, pipeline, rail and port facility.
