Tim Baxter

Port Phillip City Council, Canal Ward

I'm a Balaclava local with a young family, dedicated to planning ahead for our community’s future. I care about promoting sustainable development, equal marriage, welcoming refugees and strong action on climate change.

Tim lives locally with his family in the Balaclava, close to the vibrant Carlisle st and Ripponlea village. Tim's connection with the area, runs deep, having lived here for over ten years. He has volunteered locally in Balaclava and in Elwood where he has assisted with his son's childcare and with the Elwood Toy Library.

Tim's priority is his local community, and thus will ensure a consultative approach to sustainable planning and development.

As a father, Tim is particularly passionate about a bright future for our children, care for the people in our community that need it most, and a sustainable way forward for our city.

Tim's experience and knowledge allows him to stand for strong action on climate change. He believes we can be a world leader of quality and clean living by reducing emissions and sustainable use of energy.

Tim has chosen to stand with The Greens due to a shared vision of a society that cares about people and the environment. Tim will be a strong voice for integrity in the community, and will stand for decisions that have positive impacts for the area and its people.
