Harriet de Kok

Candidate for Dunstan

I’m a social justice activist with a passion for health care, LGBTQ+ rights, and workers rights. I’ve just finished a Master of Public Health and my studies primarily focussed on health economics, public policy, and sexual health. I am a member of the SHINE SA Community Advisory Panel, and I’ve been an active member of the Greens for almost four years.

My undergraduate degree was Bachelor of Nursing, and I worked in a nursing home in various roles for almost five years before deciding to pursue studies in public health. Since then I’ve worked in the university sector and in hospitality roles. I was also a co-host and producer of a community radio show for over two years, and a sexual health educator in a peer-to-peer sexual health campaign. I’ve lived in Adelaide my entire life – I was raised in the north-east suburbs and have lived in Norwood for over four years.

As someone who has been long-term underemployed or unemployed, I understand the need to increase the number of jobs in South Australia. The Greens have a comprehensive policy that will provide jobs in renewable energy, health, housing, and education.

I’m proud to be your Greens representative in Dunstan.
