Candidate for Kaurna
I’ve lived in Seaford all my life and currently work and study at Flinders University, where I’ll soon finish my degree and graduate as a high school teacher. As the son of a nurse and a social worker, I understand how public services and those who provide them make a difference to the lives of people in our community every day and the importance of investing in the systems which support all South Australians.
Growing up in the suburbs, I’ve seen how the privatisation of SA’s power network has driven prices through the roof and made it tough for everyday South Australian families to pay the bills. That’s why I support the Greens’ plan to reverse this mistake and put power back in the hands of the people by making sure that our essential services are in public hands, now and forever.
Our state needs a new path forward, one towards fairness and equality and which puts people and our environment first. Together we can make South Australia a place which supports the industries of the future and the jobs that come with them; where an affordable home is a reality for everyone; where all South Australians have access to high quality healthcare and education, and our environment is protected.
That’s why I’m proud to represent the Greens in Kaurna at this upcoming State election.
