Candidate for Newland
Having retired my own real estate business in 2012 I relish the time to work on what matters. I am an active, interested listener and want to hear what matters to you. We have two adult children and three grandchildren – one 10 years old and two eight year-old twins.
I attended Norwood High School, Metropolitan Business College, TAFE, University of SA and now U3A. I’ve worked as community volunteer, waitress, sole proprietor real estate agency (35 years), School Assistant (Pitjantjatjara lands), Research Assistant helping to reclaim Aboriginal languages and now free lance activist and Greens Candidate.
I have lived in Banksia Park since marrying as well as various locations including London for a year and Paris for some months. We backpacked internationally for 2 years before starting family life. Most life changing was two years working within Aboriginal communities in Pitjantjatajara lands and the Gibson Desert.
I enrolled to vote the minute I was eligible. I am determined to work toward protecting the environment, building a stronger, fairer economy and absolutely putting essential services back in public hands.
I am proud to represent the Greens in Newland.
