Pat Caruana

Candidate for Huon

Hi, I'm Pat.

I am running for the Greens in Huon because we desperately need leadership on the climate emergency and pandemic recovery.

I am a 33-year-old father of one, currently working as a media and communications advisor.

I worked as a journalist around Australia for eight years, before joining the office of Senator Nick McKim in 2015.

I joined the Greens because of their commitment to environmental sustainability and social justice.

I want my son to grow up in a Tasmania that is clean, green, and fair.

We need to ensure no one is left behind during this crisis, and that we build a fairer, greener economy as it subsides.

Tasmania should be a place where people are able to live good lives, have meaningful work, and where our government reflects the values and wishes of the people, not just the very well off.
