Emma Williams

Alderman, Launceston City Council

Emma is an alderman with the City of Launceston. She brings to this role a background in natural resource management (NRM) and environmental assessment, and experience in community development.

Key areas of focus for Emma are the environmental health of the Tamar, sustainable urban development, and improving social equity across the community, particularly for younger residents and disadvantaged sectors.

Emma also maintains a working role in NRM and in her spare time enjoys the joys of tribal bellydance and bushwalking in Tassie's beautiful landscapes, as well as the community connections that council offers.
