MP for Bass
I was born and grew up in Launceston and returned to raise my two small girls in an environment that I know and love.
I am convinced that intensive farming of animals is comparable with slavery. So I decided to make vegetarianism a viable mainstream choice in Launceston and opened my restaurant Fresh in 1999. I stood for State Parliament in 2014 to voice my love of Tasmanian produce, healthy communities and sustainable farming. I believe that small businesses give community identity as do Tasmania’s unique natural and built heritage values.
