Hi, I'm aamer.

I migrated from Pakistan in 2007. Since then, I have been living in the Melton council area. I am a father of three kids. I will be contesting the upcoming Melton City Council elections in 2024 from Cambrian Ward (Brookfield/Melton West area).

As a local resident, I have a deep understanding of the issues that matter to the diverse groups of people living in Melton.

Our local area deserves a representative who will listen to them, rather than to corporations and property developers.

I’ve been recognised for my deep involvement in the community, earning numerous awards such as the Multicultural Award in 2022 and being shortlisted for the Melton Community Achievement Award in 2024. My key focus will be: 

• Tackling the cost-of-living crisis.
• Improving public transport for the future.
• Building a thriving local community
• Growing active, green neighbourhoods.
