I am a parent of 2 kids, a scientist and a staunch advocate for Palestine. 

I am running as a Greens candidate because our council has failed to recognise their role in upholding human rights and advocating to stop the ongoing genocide in Gaza. I am staunchly committed to fighting for human rights, as an organiser local group fighting for justice for Palestinians and condemning the inhumane and cruel policies that keep many refugees in visa limbo.

Our electorate is home to a weapons part manufacturer and I want to see our council taking some leadership and to transition to more ethical manufacturing.

I am passionate about ensuring that our community’s voices are listened to by our council. As your councillor, I will be the voice for vulnerable community members and will provide a platform so they can use their own voice. I will fight for human rights and to make an accessible and inclusive community where all residents feel welcome and safe.
