Hi, I'm Maryam
I am a university student, a community advocate and northern suburbs local who is passionate about representing young voices and driving positive change against the cost of living crisis and climate change. I grew up in the northern suburbs, seeing firsthand our strength, resilience and diversity that defines our rich communities. Unfortunately, as times change, many families face challenges with housing stress, underfunded services and young people increasingly disconnected from politics and decision-making.
We need positive change for all, and I am running with the Greens to be an advocate for empathetic, practical and long term solutions that strengthen our communities rather than divide them.
