Hi, I'm Marley

I am a mental health peer support worker and I live and study in our city of Melbourne. My work in youth mental health compels me to fight for our young people, of all backgrounds and identities. 

I know that diversity is powerful, especially in places where decisions get made. I’m a neurodiverse and LGBT+ young person and I know the importance and beyond that, the power of community. I am a big believer in the value of lived experience and know that when we listen to those most affected by the issues our city faces, we will make better informed decisions.

As your Deputy Lord Mayor, I will fight for genuinely affordable housing, public and active transport for the future as well as multiculturalism and cultural solidarity, and I will champion local democracy.
