Greens in the East

With our leafy green streets and our multicultural make up, as well as our specific public transport issues and community values, the Eastern Metropolitan region is a unique area. For the first time ever, we have a sitting Greens MP (Samantha Dunn) to represent us and have broken the major parties' stranglehold on the area. Working together as a community, we can help make the East a greener place. Below are five ways you can start making a difference.

Taking our community survey is a great way to let Samantha know what’s important to you as a constituent of the Eastern Metropolitan Region. From roads, to the environment to your major concerns, take the survey and let us know!

Containing the Eltham, Ivanhoe, Bulleen, Warrandyte, Box Hill, Forest Hill, Bayswater, Mount Waverley and the Ferntree Gully districts, the East has a lively mix of active branches and areas to get involved in.

Greens events in the East include volunteer trainings, door knockings, markets at which the Greens have stalls, and more. Social events are held often by the various branches and are a great way to get involved and meet likeminded people.

We rely on our Green supporters to take part in campaigns we run. Whether it’s to share your thoughts, sign a petition or contact a politician, the take action button will send you to our most recent campaign action.

Volunteering is a great way to give back to the community while learning new skills. Whether you’re a long-time campaigner or absolute novice, we can find somewhere where your efforts will make all the difference.
