Tell the ACT Labor Government to protect habitat and save Canberra's Earless Dragon

The ACT Greens have long supported the community-led battle to save the critically-endangered Canberra Earless Dragon and prevent Australia's first reptilian extinction.

But sadly, Labor have once again chosen the interests of developers and corporations over the community and their own promise of no new extinctions. The Northern Road development at the airport cuts right through Canberra Earless Dragon habitat of the Canberra Earless Dragon and will likely see one of the last three remaining populations perish.

The Federal Labor Government had the power to stop this development, but instead gave it the green light. All while the ACT Labor Government saw a significant number of dragons die in breeding programs earlier this year, yet chose to sit back and let this unnecessary development go ahead.

While the poor decisions of Labor push the dragon further towards extinction, it is not too late.

We urgently need your help to save the dragons and get Labor to restore and protect the last few habitats, bolster breeding programs, and ensure they hold up their commitment to ensure that there's no new extinctions.
