Canberra should be a city where everyone has equal opportunities in life, no matter your background, ability, career, income or postcode.
But veterans and their families face unique challenges. They can face health and mental health problems, higher rates of suicide and disability, and problems finding the services they need.
The ACT Greens will improve services for veterans and their families. Our plan will help to connect veterans and their families to services, and ensure those services meet their needs.
THE ACT GREENS WILL:
- Help newly returned veterans find the support they need
- Provide better access to new, cutting-edge mental health treatments
- Fully support and implement the Veterans Wellbeing Framework
