This can only happen when public servants are supported with excellent working conditions and a safe workplace environment.

The NT Greens want to see the public service stay in public hands. Outsourcing public services, and using public funds to enrich corporate interests undermines the value and quality of public services.

In line with the Community and Public Sector Union's asks, the NT Greens fully commit to:

  1. A nine-day fortnight for public sector workers and other measures to increase flexibility for workers and their families.
  2. Fair pay rises.
  3. Increased staffing in crucial frontline areas, including Transit Safety and properly resourcing child protection to ensure they have the resources to do their job in line with current standards of best practice.
