Vica Bayley and Helen Burnet for Clark

Hi, I’m Vica Bayley – your Greens Member for Clark and proud to be running again in this state election.

I’m a born and bred Tasmanian who grew up in a sheep farming family at Sorell. I now live in Taroona with my wife Stephenie, and we have two adult children.

I trained and worked as a property valuer and teacher before spending two decades campaigning to protect our island’s wild places. I was a key part of the successful campaigns to protect Lutruwita / Tasmania from inappropriate developments like Gunns’ Tamar Valley pulp mill and a new native forest woodchip export port.

I’m passionate about Tasmania’s wilderness. I helped to extend the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area and was a key part of defending it from the Liberals’ privatisation and development plans.

As spokesperson for Residents Opposed to the Cable Car, I fought for the protection of Kunanyi / Mt Wellington from the cable car and private commercial development on the summit.

I’ve also worked closely with the Aboriginal community to see land returned and to highlight threats to ancestral heritage values. I stand in solidarity with Palawa claims for land justice, equality and heritage protection.

Since my election to Parliament in 2023, I’ve been a champion for renters’ rights, environmental protection, a wild kunanyi and stopping the billion-dollar Hobart stadium.

Hi, I’m Helen Burnet – your Greens Member for Clark and proud to be running again in this state election.

Before entering Parliament, I spent 19 years as a Green on Hobart City Council – including seven years as Deputy Lord Mayor.

I’m a registered podiatrist and spent most of my career working in the public health system. I’m also a proud union member and campaigner for workers’ rights, having served as a delegate for the allied health professionals’ sub-branch of the Health and Community Services Union.

I was elected to the Tasmanian Parliament in March 2024. I’ve brought my long-time advocacy for good planning, active transport and community wellbeing – along with my passion for environmental protection and climate action – into the House of Assembly.

This election, we can stop the stadium, invest in health and housing, and protect our environment.

All this is possible.

Hi, I'm Pat – a media adviser and campaigner with a background in journalism and political communications.

[ 7 ] Peter Jones

Hi, I'm Peter – a dedicated community volunteer from Hobart.

Much of my time is spent working with multicultural groups across the city, building stronger, more inclusive communities. I’m running with the Greens because we need politics that reflects that same spirit of care and connection.
