Our Lyons Candidates

LYONS

Vote [ 1 ] TABATHA BADGER, YOUR GREENS MP FOR LYONS

Tabatha Badger for Lyons

Hi, I’m Tabatha Badger – your Greens Member for Lyons and proud to be running again in this state election.

I was elected in March 2024 and I’m currently the youngest member of the Tasmanian Parliament. I hold a Masters in Tourism, and before entering politics, I operated a conservation and ecosystem management business.

I’m the former Chair of the Wilderness Society and a Director of the Restore Pedder campaign. I’m also an avid bushwalker, and I know just how unique the wildest parts of Lutruwita / Tasmania are – and I’ll continue fighting for their perpetual protection.

As a Central Highlands local, I understand the need for equitable access to essential services in rural Tasmania, sustainable future industries, and the urgent need to upscale ecosystem restoration to mitigate the impacts of climate change.

Representing the state’s largest and most rural electorate, I bring the voices of regional communities to Parliament.

I’m fighting for urgent climate action, social equality, First Nations justice, and meaningful, positive change.

This election, we can stop the stadium, invest in health and housing, and protect our environment.

All this is possible.
Vote Greens.
