Hi, I'm Suzie!
I'm a community developer, a longtime Moonah local, and someone who has spent thirty years working to make life better for the people around me – and I'm running as your Greens candidate for Glenorchy City Council.
I've worked as a youth accommodation coordinator, a high school chaplain, a fundraiser for World Vision, a Health and Wellbeing Program leader at Clarence City Council, a Scout Group Leader, a Neighbourhood Houses development lead, and most recently as Electorate Officer for Greens MLC Cassy O'Connor.
Every role has been guided by the same belief: kindness and justice shouldn't be privileges. They should be a reality for everyone.
I've lived in the heart of Moonah for over twenty years and raised my family here. This community means everything to me – and I want to see it get the decisions it deserves from council.
This election I'm focused on the things that make a city genuinely liveable: safe and affordable housing, welcoming public spaces, better cycleways and public transport, and cooling our streets with more trees.
I want Glenorchy to be a place where everyone belongs – young people, migrant communities, and everyone in between.
Hope to see you on the campaign trail,
Suzie
