Donation pages have been set up for each lower house campaign. You can find the list of links on Greenhouse here

Civi must be used to process all donations and fees.
• To ensure that GNSW meets all the requirements under the NSW Electoral Funding Act 2018 and remains complaint with its own polices, Civi must be used to process any political donations (including event fees). The use of Civi allows all donations, events fees and membership fees to be tracked by individual contributor and be matched against the electoral roll to ensure that donations are compliant.
• All donations and event fees, no matter how small, are required to be processed through Civi CRM. This means that NO cash payments or donations offered to a local group, individuals or at the door of an event can be accepted e.g. donations at event entry, event tickets and entry fees. Taking money only through Civi enables us to:
o match the donor of the payment against the electoral roll as required under the legislation and
o ensure prohibited donor and foreign donor checks are done (see below).
• Money can be given to your state election campaign by using a Civi donation page or events form. See below for further details.
To manage the risk to GNSW members and the Party, the use of external ticketing platforms is strictly prohibited as outlined in the Cash Donations Policy. Donations, event fees or membership fees paid for by EFT or direct deposits that occur outside Civi donations, events or memberships pages are not permitted as these systems do not allow donations compliance matching and checking.
• Civi donation pages have been set up for each local State Election Campaign. These pages ensure GNSW donations are compliant with all legislative requirements. These also allow correct reconciliation, allocation of donations and production of compliance reporting.
o The link to the donation page can be shared in emails or on social media to help you fundraise.
o Donations and event fees for your local campaign can be tracked using reports in Civi. You can look up the total acceptable donations and events fees raised by your campaign and the amount received through a particular donation page. This is outlined here Tracking_Local_Campaign_Donations_and_Event_Fees
o The GNSW office has set up donations pages for all local State Election campaigns. A list of the shortened URL links can be found here. Contact systems@nsw.greens.org.au for further information.
o Once a State Election candidate has been pre-selected, the GNSW campaign team will set up a candidate page on the Australian Greens’ website, including buttons that link to your State Election Campaign donation page.
Any other method of collecting and processing political donations and event fees is non-compliant which means that the money must be returned to the donor or refunded to the Electoral Commission
In addition, the GNSW donations policy (Adopted by SDC June 2021) also states that we can only accept donations from individuals, and we do not accept donations from organisations or corporations. This policy prohibits Greens NSW and member groups accepting donations from, for example, businesses, corporations, unions and not-for-profit organisations.
