Fair and Fast Climate Action

EQUITABLE CLIMATE ACTION NOW!

Join the movement to protect the environment, to create sustainable future for every Canberran. 🔥

In a climate emergency, we need a plan for climate action that leaves no one behind.

Canberra is different to the rest of the country—we’re progressive, we look after each other, and we take the climate crisis seriously.

In the sole balance of power, the Greens have made the ACT has a leader on climate action—cutting emissions by 40% and reaching 100% renewable electricity.

But these efforts are undercut when the Federal Labor Government continue to ignore everyday people and approve fossil fuel projects.

We’ve called on ACT Labor to uphold Canberra’s track record as climate leaders and get their mates in Federal Government to legislate a ban on new coal and gas approvals.

We need your help to ensure Canberra remains a climate leader.

Help us call on the ACT Minister for Climate Change, Environment, Energy and Water to uphold Canberra’s climate leadership, sign the fossil fuel non-proliferation treaty and get her federal colleagues to take the climate emergency seriously—for the sake of our shared future.
