NSW PREMIER CHRIS MINN'S WANTS TO DEMOLISH HOMES IN NORTHERN NSW

After returning to the comfort of his home in Sydney, while northern NSW communities are still on the edge after Cyclone Alfred, NSW Premier Chris Minns declared on 2GB radio that he will demolish old unoccupied timber homes in North Lismore -- the same homes that were planned to be relocated after the 2022 floods and have offered shelter to those unhoused in the middle of a housing crisis.
We unequivocally stand against Minns' decision to destroy homes that were supposed to be relocated, especially during a housing crisis.
We call on the NSW Premier to reverse his decision and support northern NSW communities who are suffering after Cyclone Alfred.
