Labor wants to spend $32 Million Every day for the next 30 years acquiring 8 nuclear submarines.

This deal will lock us into the war ambitions of the US and the UK, rather than allowing Australia to have our own defence policy aimed at regional peace and stability.

And it actually makes us less safe.

We should be building a safe, peaceful future for Australia and our region. Instead, this toxic deal threatens our neighbours and drives us recklessly toward the next US-led war.

This could be spent on fixing the housing crisis, fully funding public schools, including dental and mental health in Medicare, making TAFE and university free, raising the wages of essential workers, and tackling climate change. Instead, Labor wants to spend it on 8 submarines.
