Kobi Shetty MP is proud to be the new Member for Balmain in the NSW Legislative Assembly.
As an elected Inner West Councillor, former financial fraud prevention specialist, long-term Lilyfield local and mum to three young kids - Kobi has proven time and time again to be a strong advocate for her community, a liveable planet and integrity in politics.
Over the years, Kobi has championed local school climate strikes, worked to increase transparency over council decisions, spearheaded the campaign for safer cycling infrastructure, and pushed for more public housing on public land.
Kobi is committed to continue working hard for her local community and seeing out the long-term changes the people of NSW need.
Alongside her strong all-female Greens MP cohort, she will be working collaboratively across parliament to ensure climate action, gambling reform, world-class public transport and a fair society is at the top of the agenda.
