Kobi Shetty

Kobi Shetty MP is proud to be the Member for Balmain in the NSW Legislative Assembly.   

As a long-time Lilyfield local and mum of three, Kobi understands the pressures facing families across the Inner West. Before being elected to Parliament in 2023, Kobi worked as a financial fraud prevention specialist and served as an Inner West Councillor proving to be a strong advocate for her community, a liveable planet, and integrity in politics.  

In Parliament, she is focused on delivering affordable homes, better public transport, real action on climate change, and well-planned, liveable neighbourhoods.

Kobi is continuing to work with the local community to deliver practical outcomes that make everyday life better, from securing affordable key worker housing in Annandale to restoring the Balmain West Ferry, winning a commitment to reopen the Glebe Island Bridge, and returning Wentworth Park to our community.
