About this role
In this role you’ll work closely with the Australian Greens Senior Advertising & Marketing Manager to deliver a targeted ad campaign across the state, ensuring people know who the Greens are and why they should vote for us.
You’ll manage a high volume of ads, and use your reporting and analytics skills to keep stakeholders informed about campaign progress, and make data-driven decisions. If you’re a digital expert who is passionate about building a progressive Australia, you’ll love this job.

Position description
The Advertising Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the strategic goals and functions of
the Victorian Greens. The role involves working with other communications and campaign staff in the Victorian and national teams.
The role is suitable to someone who will be highly motivated with energy and initiative. Excellent communications and interpersonal skills are essential. You will be responsible for the following tasks:
▲ Deliver paid digital advertising across platforms like Meta and Google, including account setup, compliance, reporting, optimisation, invoicing and budget reconciliation.
▲ Audit and support digital engagement and moderation tools.
▲ Monitor, analyse and report on advertising performance, providing insights and recommendations
▲ Provide support for social media and digital communications requests.
▲ Create static content for localised advertising campaigns.
▲ Other work as needed: as a part of a small, agile team, you will be asked to contribute to other work from time-to-time, with the support of experienced staff

Key selection criteria
- Values alignment: A passion for our movement and commitment to our policies, charter and values: ecological sustainability, grassroots participatory democracy, social justice and peace and non-violence.
- Digital marketing: Experience in designing, delivering and optimising high performance ad campaigns with a focus on Meta and Google advertising, and Canva design.
- Analytics and optimisation: Experience using analytics tools to test and optimise adverts, particularly Meta Ads Manager and Google Analytics
- Organised with attention to detail: working to tight deadlines, including invoicing and budget reconciliation..
- Team work/rapport building skills: Experience in working in various teams, including working well with others, having a friendly attitude in difficult conversations and an openness to build the capacity of others.
Bonus points for
- Lived experience or connections to First Nations justice, racial justice, LGBTQIA+ justice, disability justice or gendered justice movements.
- Campaigns experience: Previous work in a political, campaigning or social justice organisation..
- Working with volunteers: Experience in a volunteer- or member-led organisation
