- The first $1,500 of membership fees and/or donations to a political party from individuals in a financial year are tax deductible.
- Political donations legislation in NSW is the strongest in the country because of campaigning by The Greens in Parliament and in the community.
- The Greens NSW take the integrity of political donations so seriously that we have our own internal policy which requires us to not accept donations above $6,600 from an eligible donor in any financial year. This figure is indexed annually in line with the Consumer Price Index.
- Donations of $1000 or more will be listed on the Greens NSW website, and donors may also be required to disclose these donations to the Electoral Commission.
