SILENT MOVIE KISS ETCHING BY WENDY SHARPE AM
This Etching is based on drawings made for the Annette Kellerman mural at Cook and Philip Aquatic Centre Sydney. The Annette Kellerman mural runs the length of the Olympic pool, and follows the story of an Australian woman, a champion swimmer, movie star and theatre performer.
Wendy Sharpe AM is one of Australia’s most acclaimed and awarded artists. She has won an extensive list of prizes, residencies and scholarships; including: winning the Archibald Prize, the Sulman Prize, the Portia Geach Memorial Award, the Calleen Art Prize, the Adelaide Perry Art Prize and the Gold Award. She has a major exhibition 'Spellbound' at the Art Gallery of New South Wales, 2024.

BIRD IN THE BANKSIA BY LYN FRASER
A gorgeous original acrylic art painting on stretched cotton canvas. 508mm x 508mm x 38mm (20" x 20" x 1.5"). Lyn had her first exhibition in 2013 at the Red Door Gallery. Her success there inspired her to continue painting and to donate some of her works to causes that are dear to her. Many of her paintings utilise objects discarded by our consumerist society with some conveying the need to halt our destrucive practices, while others celbrate a culture of activism and a deep seated love of nature.
