The Greens NSW Engagement Volunteer

The Greens NSW Engagement Volunteer is a short-term role for individuals keen to help strengthen supporter engagement in the lead-up to the 2027 State Election.

The role will assist with activities that connect our movement with people across the state. Responsibilities include event coordination for in-person and online events, such as raffles, trivia nights, and philanthropy gatherings. Key tasks include event planning and delivery, supporter engagement and follow-up, research and data support. Depending on experience, further responsibilities may be assigned.

OBJECTIVES:

  • Support: Assist the Greens NSW Engagement Team with event coordination and supporter engagement.
  • Upskill: Gain insight into engagement activities, fundraising and supporter communications.
  • Engage: Build meaningful connections with supporters and strengthen involvement in current campaigns.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Someone with strong organisational, event and interpersonal skills.
  • A passionate Greens supporter, student, or community member looking to contribute time and energy to the movement.

This program is open to members and supporters of the Greens.

AVAILABILITY

The program will require the following time commitment:

  • A 20-minute interview if your application progresses.
  • Start: First week of November 2025
  • Available one day per week, online and in person, 9.30 am – 4.30 pm (flexibility is built in – please apply even if you can’t commit every day).
  • Must be available to attend the Greens NSW office in Camperdown once a fortnight on Monday, Tuesday or Thursday.
  • Period: 3 months with potential extension
